What this site is

wecanuseai.com lists tools. Some were built here; most were submitted through the form on the homepage, and a submitted listing is created and described by the person who owns the tool.

If you only visit

No account is needed. Your theme, saved tools and recent opens are stored in this browser. They do not sync between devices. Clearing this site's browser data removes them.

Online catalogue searches send your search words and chosen filters to this site's Cloudflare service. Opening Saved also requests the public records for your saved listing IDs. These requests are not used here to build a visitor profile. Offline search only covers tools this browser has available.

If you submit a tool

Submitting asks for an email address to confirm ownership and send listing messages. The service also keeps private messages when you send feedback, propose work or email us, as described below.

• What it is for. Confirming the submission is really yours, and telling you what happened to it afterwards. Nothing is published until you open the confirmation link.
• It is never published. The address is not shown on the site or included in public listings data. Cloudflare and the mail providers process it to run the confirmation and delivery workflows. It is not sold or used for advertising.
• Removing a listing. Every email about your listing carries a management link. Opening it lets you correct or delete the listing yourself, immediately, without asking me. Deletion needs no approval and takes effect at once.
• How long the address is kept. Thirty days after a listing is deleted, its email address is erased automatically. A submission that is never confirmed is deleted after thirty days along with the address.
• Hearing from me about work. There is an optional, unticked box for people open to being contacted about collaboration or paid work. It is a separate purpose from running your listing: leaving it alone means you will never be contacted about it, and it has no effect on whether or how your tool is listed. It can be withdrawn from the same management link.

If you report a listing

Reporting needs no account, no email address and no name.

Your IP address is not stored. It is reduced to a one-way fingerprint using a secret and the current date. One network cannot file the same report repeatedly, and reports cannot be linked across days.

The text of a report is sent to Cloudflare's Workers AI to judge whether it describes a specific concern or is spam. Do not put anything in a report you would not want processed that way.

Sender, recipient, subject and receipt time are kept for 90 days. A body is kept in the recovery store when forwarding fails. Recovery moves that copy into a delivery queue before clearing the stored body; undelivered queued mail may remain until delivery or operator resolution. Forwarded mail also remains with the recipient and mail providers under their own retention. Your message stays private. Writing in creates no account.

If you send feedback or propose work

Feedback includes your message and an optional address for a reply. A proposal to work together includes your address and message. These are private service records used to pass on feedback or respond to the enquiry, and do not change a tool's assessment or position. Write to contact@wecanuseai.com to ask for their removal.

Automatic mail needs an address. The service and authorised operators can read addresses and queued messages to handle confirmations, reminders, replies and delivery recovery.

What this site does not do

Your location is not worked out from anything. No profile is built of any submitter, reporter or visitor. No behaviour is tracked between visits, and nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

Other services involved

• Cloudflare hosts the site and its database, and provides the automated checks described above.
• Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the submission form to tell people from bots. It loads a script from Cloudflare when you open that form, and not before.
• Resend delivers the confirmation and notification emails, and therefore handles the address you gave.
• The tools themselves. Opening a listed tool takes you to the tool owner's site, where their privacy policy applies and this one does not. Each listing shows what its owner says it collects; that is their claim, not a verified fact.

Asking for your data or its removal

The management link in your emails is the fastest route and needs nobody's involvement. If you have lost it, write to contact@wecanuseai.com from the address you submitted with and it will be handled.

This page describes what the site actually does today. When the behaviour changes, this page changes in the same release.
